The Teak Kitchen Set

Fewer, better tools. All teak.

Most kitchen drawers hold a tangle of plastic and metal. This set swaps them for a few well-shaped pieces of teak that handle everything from a morning scramble to a Sunday stew, and look good hanging by the stove.

Gentle on every pan

Kind to non-stick, cast iron and enamel.

Metal tools scrape coatings, and plastic ones can melt on a hot pan's edge. Teak is firm enough to scrape a pan clean yet gentle enough not to scratch, so your cookware lasts longer.

  • 01 Non-stick. Smooth edges that won't scratch the coating.
  • 02 Cast iron. Firm enough to lift every browned bit.
  • 03 Enamel & ceramic. No clatter, no chips.

Warm in the hand

Shaped for the long stir.

Long, slim handles keep your hand back from the heat, and teak's grain feels warm where metal feels cold. Every piece looks a little different, because the grain is never the same twice.

  • 01 Long handles. Your hand stays clear of steam and splatter.
  • 02 Hanging hole. Hang them by the stove or stand them in a crock.
  • 03 Natural grain. No two pieces are exactly alike.

On the counter

Tools you'll want to leave out.

Stood in a crock by the stove or hung on a rail, teak brings warmth to a kitchen. With a little oil now and then, its colour deepens over the years.

Care

A little care, a long life.

Teak is a dense, naturally oily wood, so it needs very little looking after.

01

Hand-wash

Warm, soapy water straight after cooking. Skip the dishwasher, which dries wood out.

02

Dry upright

Towel off, then let them air-dry standing or hanging, never in a closed drawer while damp.

03

Oil monthly

Rub in a little food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep the grain rich and smooth.

04

Never soak

Long soaks and the microwave can crack wood. Rinse, dry, done.

FAQ

Good questions

Anything else? Get in touch and we'll help.

What's the difference between the 8-piece and 5-piece sets?

The 5-piece set has the essentials: soup ladle, small ladle, skimmer, slotted turner and wok spatula. The 8-piece set adds a mixing spoon, a salad spoon and a flat turner.

Are they dishwasher safe?

No. Hand-wash in warm, soapy water and dry straight away. Dishwashers dry out and crack wood.

Will they scratch my non-stick pans?

No. Teak is gentle on non-stick, enamel and ceramic coatings, which is why many cooks prefer wood for coated pans.

Does the set come with a holder?

No. Every handle has a hanging hole, so you can hang the pieces on a rail or hooks, or stand them in any crock or jar.

My utensils look dry or pale. Is that normal?

Yes, especially after a few washes. Rub in a little food-safe mineral oil, leave it overnight and wipe off the excess. The colour comes straight back.

What is your shipping and return policy?

Shipping is free worldwide on all orders. If the set isn't right for you, you have 30 days to return it for a refund. See our refund policy for details.
